Lindsey Turner, ALC

Meet Lindsey Turner, a dedicated counselor who believes that therapy is a space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. She fosters a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment, offering unconditional positive regard and genuineness to ensure clients feel truly seen and heard.

Lindsey understands that life’s challenges are inevitable, but we have the power to embrace them as opportunities for growth rather than let them hold us back. With experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she has worked with youth and adults, helping them navigate their personal and emotional journeys. Taking a person-centered and flexible approach, Lindsey tailors her counseling to each individual, recognizing that every client’s path is unique. She integrates empathy, authenticity, and evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to help clients work through difficulties and build resilience—all while empowering the client to maintain their autonomy.

Lindsey earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo in 2024. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
