Mary Neill Starke, ALC
Mary Neill is an Associate Licensed Counselor who graduated from the University of Alabama in 2021. She continued her graduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). There, she earned a Master’s degree in Counseling along with a certificate in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling.
Mary Neill has worked with clients across all age ranges, from children to elders, and has provided individual, family, and group therapy. She had experience treating a wide variety of client issues, including ADHD, anger management, grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relational challenges. Most recently, Mary Neill has become certified in working with the first responders.
Mary Neill’s counseling philosophy is primarily person-centered, focusing on creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. She also integrates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, helping clients develop practical strategies to overcome challenges and make meaningful changes in their lives. Mary Neill believes that every client has the potential to create their own story, craft their own tune, and shape their own unique work of art, each one as beautiful and distinct as they are.
